55" Concert Quality Travel Size 21-stringed Rosewood Guzheng
This is a concert quality guzheng made in travel size. It's 100% handmade by
well-respected Taiwanese maker Ji Shihan. The guzheng is 8" shorter than the standard
size. The left-side bridge is made in straight line instead of the common "S" shape
bridge, so the strings have enough length to sustain on the desired pitch. The
decoration part is minimized to provide extra room for the strings. Therefore, the strings
can have the same length as the standard-size guzheng. It's designed for convenient
carrying around with concert level sound quality.
This beautiful instrument is made with carved-out paulownia body soundboard that's
air-dried for over 3 years. The frame is made by premium grade rosewood with
mother-of-pearl inlay. The backboard is made of walnut wood. Solid walnut wood
provides a more solid and punchy voice.
This instrument is our concert model that sounds sweet, rich, full, and clear.
