We are proud to introduce the Sound of China Guzheng Series. This model is Sound of
China guzheng's advance model. All the making materials including soundboards, frames,
strings and bridges are carefully selected by Sound of China professionals.
This guzheng is made of natural air-dried paulownia soundboards. Both top and bottom
sound boards are made by a single piece of paulownia that has been air dried for at least
one year. The frame is made by rosewood imitating the zitan purple sandalwood. It
comes with concert grade bridges that are made of black sandalwood. The strings are
made of German steel that are of professional quality yet soft enough for beginners to
learn bending. The design is in classical Chinese brush painting.
The right side is decorated with bamboo and orchid. The left side caligraphy is a poem
from Wang Wei of Tang Dynasty.

森林人不知明月來相照
Alone I sit, in the bowers of the bamboo trees,
My zither I pluck, then, long and loud I sing.
Deep in the forest, none knows I exist,
None but the moonlight, to me, solace you bring.

with this model. It comes with a 2- piece stands, one set of finger picks, and 1-10 spare

We do not sell flame-dried instrument that has charcoal like dark soundboard. The flame-
dried board although can speed up the drying process, but the sound quality is not
optimal. It generally sounds metallic with short lifespan.
