We are proud to introduce the new Sound of China carved-out travel size guzheng. This beautiful guzheng is custom-designed by Sound of China Guzheng Music.  All the making materials including sound body, frames, strings and bridges are carefully selected by Sound of China professionals.   The sound body is carved out from one piece of paulownia wood, and it is framed up by Burmese rosewood to give extra sweetness and richness.  This guzheng sounds fuller and richer than most full-size guzheng. 

The carved-out sound body is designed to give full volume with focus and clean sounding.  The ebony bridges are specifically designed to fit this travel-size guzheng.  It is equipped with Dunhuang B strings for professional playing.


It comes with a free set of finger picks and adhesive tape, ebony bridge set, tuning wrench, 2-piece stands, soft bag and spare 1-7 strings. We provide set-up instruction that's easy to follow. Help on set-up and playing is also offered over the phone or internet free of charge.

“元琦”挖小筝使用整木泡桐挖嵌制作、搭配缅酸枝饰板、乌木筝码。筝体设计经过改良发音比多数标准尺寸古筝更浑厚有共鸣，过渡平均干净，手感扎实有力。此筝音色饱满扎实，125cm方便携带，适合放筝地方不大但对音色要求高或需要经常外出演奏的筝友。
