21-stringed Hongtan Red Sandalwood Guzheng with Mica Inlay.

This beautiful instrument is custom-designed by Sound of China guzheng professional.

The sound board is selected from the best grade of air-dried paulownia cut in the
quartersawn method.  The quartersawn-cut method is known as the best cutting method
of sound boards for musical instruments.   It provides a more stable and clear sound
compared to the flatsawn-cut.  The bottom of the sound board is carved with sound
grooves to increase volume.

The straight and tight grains of the sound board yield the best concert-level sounds.  This
instrument sounds full and resonant with strong bass and sweet highs.  The middle range
is solid and has a clarity that can't be heard in other instruments.

The frame is hongtan red sandalwood with Mica Inlay.   The characteristics of hongtan is
sweet and clear.
