The guzheng fans in Beijing enjoyed a New Composition Guzheng
Concert on September 10th performed by two of the greatest guzheng
masters Wang Zhongshan and Li Meng. The night turns out to be not
only a great concert but also a guzheng stars show as many famous
guzheng musicians attended. Fans were chasing off Yuan Sha, Wu Li,
Ji Wei etc. for autograph and photos.
Wang Zhongshan and Li Meng are the most activie members in the
guzheng field. They have trained many young stars and are dedicated
in promoting guzheng music. Nevertheless, these two musicians
never stop working on new compositions.
In this concert, Wang Zhongshan and Li Meng presented new
compositions from the last couple years include “Cloud’s Tear”,
“Looking down the Qin River,” and the “Soul of Yellow River”. Master
Wang Zhongshan also debuted two of his newest composition, the
“Moutain Living Autumn Night” and “Snowy Plum Festival”.
