| The 2005 Fall Guzheng Master Seminar has Concluded Successfully 2005-9-16 |

To promote Guzheng music and Chinese culture, the Beijing Culture
Exchange Center hosted the 2005 Fall Guzheng Master Seminar from
September 9 - 15. The goal is to provide an intensive training for
guzheng teachers to obtain professional skills in teaching.
The Beijing Culture Exchange Center invited famous guzheng masters
Wang Zhongshan and Li Meng, as well as professional guzheng
musicians, to lecture in the seminar. Musicians including Wu Li, Ji Wei,
Sun Zhou and Fan Ran share their guzheng learning experiences with
the students.
The musicians also first released the music sheets of several new
compositions that are valuable to all guzheng players.
20 Guzheng teachers from all parts of the world have participated in
this event. Many take this seminar as a precious opportunity to learn
from the masters.
“It’s really nice to become a guzheng student again. I haven’t viewed
from the student’s prospective for years, “ commented by Li Ke, a
Central Music Conservatory graduate, currently a guzheng teacher in
Guizhou.
“I would like to join this program again next year, “ said by He
Hsiangzhen, a guzheng teacher from Japan.
