This is a Qinling Guzheng "Silky Jade" series. The guzheng is equipped with concert quality Dunhuang B strings and custom-made ebony bridges.
The sound of this instrument is mellow-sweet and warm with balanced range. The bass is full, the high notes are sweet, and the mid-range is clean and solid.
This model has 1 year warranty from the manufacturer. It comes with a 2-piece stands, guzheng chromatic tuner, finger picks, and 1-7 spare strings. It is the whole package that leads you to enjoy playing. We provide set-up instruction that's easy to follow. Help on set-up and playing is always offered over the phone or the internet free of charge.
Qinling Guzheng is founded by one of the Scarlet Bird Zhuque Factory's most skillful maker, who has been making Scarlet Bird guzheng for 40 years.
With limited production, all Qinling guzheng are hand made with many details in both sound and craftmanship. They were the one of the spotlight in the 2018 Shanghai Music Show.
The body board made of paulownia (pao-tong) tree(naturally grows in Henan Province), which is artificially hollowed out in the middle, has greatly improved the sound quality of the instrument. In the other words, it takes almost the whole tree just to make one single guzheng. The sound of Qinling "Silky Jade" series is rich and ancient, with mellow-sweet tone.
This model is custom-made for Sound of China. All the bridges and strings are fine-tuned and adjusted to ensure the best sound quality.
