This year’s concert features a diverse and vibrant program, blending traditional Chinese melodies with modern creativity. From poetic nostalgia to bold innovation, these works showcase the expressive power and versatility of the guzheng.

Dreaming of Qiong Yao – A lyrical ensemble piece arranged by Professor Cynthia Hsiang inspired by beloved theme songs from classic Chinese romance dramas
Emperor of the West Chu – A dramatic portrayal of the legendary warrior Xiang Yu, full of intensity and momentum
Chang'an Twelve Hours Fantasia – A vivid musical reimagining of a single day in the bustling Tang Dynasty capital
Ink and Wash & Against the Wind – Guzheng-piano concertos that blend Eastern aesthetics with Western musical textures
Carmen – A bold and rhythmic guzheng duet based on Bizet’s opera, filled with fiery Spanish flair
APT – Professor Cynthia Hsiang's guzheng trio arrangement of the hit track by ROSÉ and Bruno Mars, fusing pop rhythm with traditional timbre
