Sound Characteristics:

This beautiful instrument is made with concert grade paulownia soundboards.  The top and the bottom of the sound boards are both made by paulownia that were dried using special Shanghai method that provides the famous classical sweet tone of the guzheng.  It is a collection model from the Dunhuang factory.  The sound is brilliant, very rich, clear, melting sweet and resonant.    

Frame is made of Zitan East Indian Rosewood (698J) with silver thread inlay in the "Lady Baochai Chasing after the Butterflies" design.  The bridges are made by Indian rosewood.  The character of East Indian Rosewood is known for it's delicacy and crystal clear character.  

It's made by the famous guzheng factory Dunhuang, who produce over 50% of the total guzheng production. 

This guzheng comes with the whole package that leads you to enjoy playing.  We provide set-up instruction that's easy to follow.  Help on set-up and playing is also offered over the phone or internet free of charge.

This model is hand selected by our professional Yukina at the factory.  All the bridges and strings are fine-tuned and adjusted to ensure the best sound quality.
