This collection features a special selection of guzheng brought by Dunhuang Musical Instrument Factory to the NAMM Show. For international exhibition, Dunhuang carefully selects instruments that represent the top examples of each model, prioritizing tonal balance, responsiveness, and overall build quality. These guzheng were chosen to demonstrate the highest performance standard of their respective models.
Each instrument in the NAMM Show Collection reflects Dunhuang’s highest level of quality control within its model line. Built with well-seasoned paulownia soundboards and stable internal structure, these guzheng offer clear articulation, a focused and expressive midrange, and a full, resonant bass suitable for both solo and ensemble performance.
Different models in this collection may vary in voicing, appearance, and finish, allowing players to choose based on tonal preference and playing style. Availability varies by model, and some instruments from this collection have already been placed with new owners.
