Custom made for Sound of China by a craftsman with 30 years of experience making Japanese koto, the Guiyue Elite Guzheng combines meticulous craftsmanship with a beautifully clear and expressive voice.
Its soundboard is crafted from 50-year-old Aizu paulownia, showcasing exquisite natural grain with flowing patterns and depth. The instrument features Kurikou construction, with a seamless connection between the body and bottom board. Inside, hand-carved Ayasugi V-shaped acoustic grooves reveal the attention given to its acoustic construction. A Siamese Rosewood frame completes its elegant, understated appearance.
The Guiyue’s sound is clear and delicate, yet full-bodied and richly resonant. The bass is deep, rounded, and well-defined, while the upper register is sweet and luminous, with long, ringing sustain. A warm, substantial middle register connects the two, creating a balanced and even transition across the strings. Its responsive tone and wide dynamic range allow both gentle phrases and powerful passages to emerge with clarity and expression.
This guzheng is equipped with Dunhuang Professional B strings and Indian Rosewood bridges. Each bridge tip is individually shaped by Sound of China to fit its corresponding string, and the bridges and strings are carefully adjusted to bring out the instrument’s tonal qualities.

珪月50年会津桐木典藏演奏古筝
由拥有30年日本筝制作经验的师傅为 Sound of China 特别定制，采用50年日本会津桐木，天然纹理优美，搭配大红酸枝木框，素雅精致。琴体采用刳甲（くり甲）工艺，筝体与底板无缝衔接，内部精雕绫杉 Ayasugi 双三角菱形音槽。配备印度紫檀筝码及敦煌专业B弦，经 Sound of China 精细整音，音色清澈通透、细腻饱满，低音深厚，高音甜润悠扬，余韵丰富而富有层次，各音区衔接均衡自然。欢迎来店试音！
